Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Expertly mix, garnish, and serve a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, consistency, and flair, adhering strictly to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests directly on the floor to take beverage and food orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and compelling descriptions from the menu.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system with high accuracy to process guest orders, manage open tabs, handle various payment methods, and ensure all transactions are closed correctly.
- Diligently verify the age and identification of all guests ordering alcoholic beverages, ensuring strict compliance with local and state alcohol service regulations.

- Maintain an encyclopedic knowledge of the entire beverage and food menu, including spirits, wine, beer, craft cocktails, ingredients, potential allergens, and flavor profiles.
- Responsibly monitor guest consumption of alcohol and behavior, discreetly refusing service and arranging for safe transportation when necessary to prevent over-intoxication.
- Efficiently and safely deliver beverage orders from the service bar to guests seated at tables or other areas on the floor, ensuring timeliness and absolute order accuracy.
- Uphold impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization in all service areas, including service stations, glassware storage, and the surrounding floor space throughout the shift.
- Actively promote and upsell premium spirits, craft cocktails, and strategic food pairings to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue for the establishment.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency, escalating complex issues to management to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

- Assume responsibility for an assigned cash drawer or mobile payment device, ensuring accurate cash handling and precise end-of-shift reconciliation.
