Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Analyze and meticulously document current-state business processes ("As-Is") to identify critical bottlenecks, redundancies, and key opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Lead engaging and productive workshops and interview sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to gather detailed process requirements and build consensus on future-state designs.
  • Design, model, and visualize optimized future-state processes ("To-Be") using industry-standard methodologies like BPMN, Lean, or Six Sigma to create a clear blueprint for change.
  • Develop and implement robust workflow automation solutions using low-code/no-code platforms such as Salesforce Flow, Microsoft Power Automate, ServiceNow, or similar BPM tools.
  • Translate complex business needs and process logic into clear, actionable technical specifications and user stories for development and implementation teams.
  • Create comprehensive process maps, value stream maps, and detailed flowcharts to effectively communicate insights and process designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to rigorously measure the impact of process improvements, such as cycle time reduction, cost savings, and error rate decrease.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis on process failures or performance gaps, recommending and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions to ensure long-term stability.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of process improvement projects, from initial discovery and analysis through to implementation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-launch hypercare.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials, job aids, and documentation to support seamless user adoption and proficiency with new processes and automated systems.
  • Act as a central subject matter expert on process optimization and workflow automation, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to business units across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure holistic and integrated solutions that are fully aligned with overarching strategic business objectives.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis to build a compelling, data-driven business case and ROI analysis for significant change and transformation initiatives.
  • Champion a pervasive culture of continuous improvement by mentoring junior analysts and evangelizing best practices in process management and operational excellence.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies in workflow automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI-driven process mining, and digital transformation to inform our strategy.
  • Facilitate rigorous user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles to validate that newly implemented solutions meet all business requirements and deliver a superior user experience.
  • Develop, govern, and maintain a centralized repository of process documentation, standards, and best practices to serve as a single source of truth for the organization.
  • Advise senior leadership on strategic opportunities for leveraging technology to optimize core business operations, drive competitive advantage, and enhance customer value.
  • Govern the portfolio of existing automated processes, ensuring they remain effective, compliant, and continuously aligned with evolving business needs and policies.
  • Partner with change management teams to develop strategic communication plans and engagement activities that facilitate the successful rollout and enthusiastic adoption of new workflows.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on proposed process changes and develop proactive mitigation plans to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Create and present compelling business cases, financial models, and ROI analyses to executive stakeholders to secure buy-in and funding for key transformation projects.

Secondary Functions

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Deep expertise in process mapping and modeling using tools like Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio, or ARIS.
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0) standards and best practices.
  • Hands-on, demonstrable experience building and deploying solutions on workflow automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Flow, Power Automate, ServiceNow Flow Designer, Zapier).
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and querying using SQL, with experience in creating dashboards with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt certification is highly preferred), and Kaizen.
  • Practical experience with project management frameworks, particularly Agile and Scrum, for delivering iterative value.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and technical design documents.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
