Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival, provide friendly and attentive service throughout their visit, and create a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
  • Accurately take customer orders at the counter or drive-thru, attentively listening to special requests and dietary needs to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Expertly operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process orders, handle cash and credit card transactions, and issue correct change and receipts.
  • Prepare a wide variety of food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and entrees, by strictly following established recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards.
  • Craft high-quality beverages, including coffee, sodas, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and adherence to our quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our menu, including ingredients and potential allergens, to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served at the correct temperatures, in compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and restocking condiment stations.
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks in the kitchen and service areas, such as washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and sweeping/mopping floors to uphold health standards.
  • Manage drive-thru operations efficiently, communicating clearly with guests and fellow team members to ensure speed and accuracy.
  • Restock service stations, refrigerators, and storage areas with food, beverages, and supplies to ensure a smooth flow of operations during peak hours.
  • Assemble and package to-go and delivery orders with care, double-checking for accuracy and ensuring all necessary condiments and utensils are included.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy, seeking to resolve issues promptly and escalating to a manager when necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members, communicating order details and timing to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including uniform guidelines and workplace safety protocols.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, which may include setting up stations, prepping ingredients, and conducting a thorough breakdown and cleaning of the restaurant.
  • Proactively monitor food quality and freshness, promptly removing any items that do not meet our high standards.
  • Support inventory management by assisting with stock counts and alerting management to low-supply items.
  • Upsell and promote featured menu items, special offers, and loyalty programs to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
  • Operate various kitchen equipment, such as fryers, grills, and ovens, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and customer volumes, maintaining a calm and efficient demeanor during high-pressure situations.

Minimum Education:

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range:

  • 0 - 2 years in a customer-facing or food service role.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience as a cashier, cook, barista, or crew member.
