Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conduct regular, on-site visits to a portfolio of franchise locations to provide hands-on coaching and ensure operational excellence in all areas.
- Analyze franchisee financial performance, including P&L statements, cash flow, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify areas of opportunity and risk.
- Provide hands-on coaching and strategic guidance to franchisees, helping them to improve operational efficiency, team performance, and overall profitability.
- Collaborate with franchisees to develop and implement comprehensive annual business plans and local marketing strategies aimed at driving top-line sales growth.
- Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor between the corporate office and franchise partners, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective two-way communication.
- Champion the implementation of new company-wide initiatives, products, technologies, and marketing campaigns at the franchise level, ensuring successful adoption and execution.
- Perform detailed operational evaluations and brand standards audits, providing constructive feedback and creating actionable improvement plans with franchisees to address any deficiencies.
- Guide and support franchisees through the new store opening (NSO) process, from pre-opening checklists to grand opening execution, to ensure a successful launch.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational, financial, or interpersonal issues within the franchise network, mediating conflicts and providing effective, timely solutions.
- Educate franchisees on best practices for inventory management, labor scheduling, cost control, and other critical business functions to enhance bottom-line results.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all terms of the Franchise Agreement, operating manuals, and legal requirements to protect brand integrity and ensure consistency.
- Facilitate regional meetings, workshops, and training sessions for franchisees and their management teams to share best practices and foster a collaborative community.
- Gather and report on field-level intelligence, including competitor activities, local market trends, and franchisee feedback, to inform corporate strategy and innovation.
- Assist franchisees in developing strategies for recruiting, training, and retaining top talent to build strong teams capable of delivering a superior customer experience.
- Prepare and present regular, detailed performance reports on the assigned territory's health, challenges, and growth trajectory to senior leadership.
- Drive franchisee engagement and satisfaction by building strong, positive, and mutually beneficial relationships based on trust, transparency, and respect.
- Ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience is delivered across all franchise locations within the designated territory by coaching on service standards.
- Support the franchise renewal process by evaluating franchisee performance, operational history, and long-term commitment to the brand.
- Leverage CRM tools to meticulously document franchisee interactions, track progress on action plans, and manage the overall health of the territory.
- Partner with the corporate marketing team to ensure franchisees are effectively utilizing available marketing resources and participating in national campaigns to maximize their ROI.

Typical Experience Range:

- Experience within the specific industry (e.g., Quick Service Restaurants, Retail, Fitness, Home Services).
- Demonstrated success in turning around underperforming units and accelerating the growth of top-performing units.
