Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Define and execute a data‑driven ecommerce growth plan for French‑language channels with quarterly OKRs focused on revenue, margin, conversion rate, average order value (AOV), CAC and LTV; translate strategic targets into monthly execution roadmaps and deliverables.
- Own marketplace strategy (Amazon FR, Cdiscount, Fnac‑Darty, La Redoute, Carrefour, etc.): assortment strategy, pricing & repricing policy, Buy Box optimisation, enhanced brand content (A+), FBA vs FBM decisions and profitability analysis.
- Manage the full product lifecycle on ecommerce platforms: product onboarding, SKU mapping, PIM integration (Akeneo / Salsify), product attributes, translations/localization into French, EAN/GTIN validation, and continuous feed enrichment to improve discoverability and purchase intent.
- Lead merchant/marketplace operations including catalog maintenance, inventory & replenishment coordination with warehouses and 3PLs, shipping policy alignment, returns management and SLA monitoring to ensure TACOS and delivery KPIs are met.
- Create and optimise product detail pages and category landing pages for SEO and conversion (title, bullets, descriptions, metadata, Schema markup, images, A+ content) using keyword research specific to French consumer search behavior.
- Execute and optimize omnichannel paid acquisition strategies (Google Ads / Google Shopping, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads) for the French market to achieve target ROAS and CPA, including search, shopping, performance max, remarketing and prospecting campaigns.
- Manage CRM & lifecycle marketing for French consumers: segmentation, email & SMS flows (Klaviyo / Mailchimp / Emarsys), newsletters, cart recovery and win‑back campaigns localized for French audiences.
- Run A/B and multivariate tests to improve key conversion funnels on product pages and checkout (CRO tools: Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize) and validate changes with statistical significance and uplift analysis.
- Monitor site & marketplace analytics daily/weekly (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Tagging QA) and produce actionable insights; build dashboards (Looker/Tableau/Power BI) showing revenue, conversion, traffic by channel, SKU and campaign.
- Develop and present monthly performance reviews and forecasts to senior leadership, including P&L impacts, margin analysis, and recommendations to reallocate media spend or change assortment.
- Run promotional planning and calendar for France (seasonality, French holidays, soldes, Black Friday, Prime Day), coordinate with commercial, supply chain and creative teams to maximize sell‑through and margin.
- Implement and maintain accurate product feed management tools (Lengow, ChannelAdvisor, Feedonomics) to ensure consistent listings across marketplaces, minimize disapprovals, and improve catalog completeness scores.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with marketplace account managers and platform partners in France; secure featured placements, promotional slots and co‑op marketing support.
- Lead French content production: brief and manage photographers, copywriters and localization vendors to deliver SEO‑rich, legally compliant (framing, CE marking) product content and user‑generated content strategies.
- Ensure ecommerce compliance with French and EU regulations (GDPR, consumer rights, pricing & promotions law, eco‑contribution, WEEE) and work with legal to maintain compliant content and policies.
- Drive cross‑functional projects with UX/product, engineering and IT to reduce friction in cart, checkout and account flows, including payment localization (Carte Bleue, local wallets) and fraud prevention strategies.
- Optimize shipping, returns and payment conditions for French customers to reduce abandonment and returns costs; design customer journeys for express delivery, in‑store pickup, and marketplace logistics.
- Implement customer support SLAs and escalation paths for marketplace and DTC channels; analyze CS tickets to identify product or content quality issues and reduce repeat complaints.
- Establish pricing and markdown strategies, dynamic pricing rules, and competitive monitoring for France to protect margin while sustaining volume growth; operate price testing and elasticity analyses.
- Create SKU‑level business cases for new product launches or marketplace expansions in France, including TAM, revenue forecasts, CAC payback, and inventory commitments.
- Mentor and sometimes manage junior ecommerce specialists, coordinating tasks, developing capabilities (analytics, marketplace ops) and promoting best practices for catalog hygiene.
- Continuously scan the French ecommerce landscape for new channels, platform features, and partner opportunities (social commerce, local marketplaces) and recommend pilots to the leadership team.

Minimum Education:
