  • Design and produce high-quality, visually compelling cartographic products and thematic maps for internal stakeholders, executive reporting, and external-facing publications.
  • Develop, automate, and scale geoprocessing workflows and data pipelines using Python (GeoPandas, ArcPy), FME, or similar tools to dramatically improve efficiency.
  • Source, evaluate, process, and integrate new first-party and third-party geospatial datasets to enrich our location intelligence platform.
  • Conduct high-accuracy geocoding and reverse geocoding for large volumes of address data, troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies as they arise.
  • Create and meticulously manage metadata for all geospatial datasets, adhering to established organizational and industry standards (e.g., ISO 19115).
  • Act as the primary technical expert and consultant on GIS software (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) and geospatial concepts for various teams across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to integrate spatial features and methodologies into predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Develop and deploy interactive web maps and intuitive location-based dashboards using platforms like ArcGIS Online, Carto, or Mapbox to democratize access to spatial insights.
  • Perform sophisticated network analysis, such as drive-time calculations, route optimization, and service area definition, to support logistics, marketing, and operational planning.
  • Curate, clean, and validate foundational geographic data layers, including administrative boundaries, points of interest (POIs), and transportation networks.
  • Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all geospatial processes, data models, and custom applications you develop.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the GIS and geospatial industry, actively recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Support strategic site selection and market expansion analysis by creating robust suitability models based on demographic, psychographic, and competitive landscape data.
  • Translate ambiguous or complex business requirements into well-defined spatial problems and clearly communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures for all incoming and newly created geospatial data.
  • Assist in the administration, configuration, and performance tuning of our ArcGIS Enterprise or similar server environment to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Conduct remote sensing analysis, including image classification and feature extraction from satellite or aerial imagery, to support environmental or land-use projects.
  • Manage field data collection projects using GPS/GNSS technologies, from initial planning and equipment setup to post-processing and final data integration.
