Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Expertly wrap, box, and bow merchandise of various shapes, sizes, and fragility, ensuring a high-quality, aesthetically pleasing presentation that aligns with our brand's luxury standards.
  • Engage warmly with customers to understand their specific needs, providing personalized recommendations for wrapping paper, ribbons, and embellishments to create a unique and memorable gift.
  • Skillfully craft custom, intricate bows and apply decorative embellishments by hand, adding a sophisticated and personalized touch that elevates the overall presentation of each package.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management and composure to manage a high volume of wrapping requests simultaneously, particularly during peak holiday seasons, without sacrificing quality.
  • Exercise extreme care and precision when handling delicate, fragile, or high-value merchandise to prevent any damage during the boxing and wrapping process.
  • Act as a knowledgeable consultant, guiding customers in selecting the most appropriate boxes, gift bags, and wrapping materials for their specific items.
  • Adhere strictly to the company's established brand guidelines and presentation standards for all gift wrapping, ensuring a consistent and elevated customer experience across the board.
  • Accurately process transactions for gift wrapping services using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling payments, applying appropriate charges, and ensuring a smooth checkout process.
  • Implement and maintain a clear and organized system for tagging and storing completed gifts, ensuring they are easily identifiable and ready for a seamless customer pickup.
  • Assemble and beautifully arrange items for custom gift baskets and pre-packaged gift sets, ensuring a balanced, secure, and visually appealing final product that wows the customer.
  • Meticulously inspect each finished gift to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, with crisp corners, tight seams, and perfectly tied bows before handing it to the customer.
  • Accommodate special customer requests for personalization, such as specific color combinations, non-traditional wrapping styles, or the discreet inclusion of special notes and gift cards.
  • Professionally and calmly address and resolve any customer concerns or issues related to the gift wrapping service, always striving to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of the store's key products and promotions to better assist customers with their gift selections and drive sales for the gift-wrapping service.
  • Efficiently manage workflow to meet or exceed daily and hourly wrapping targets, demonstrating a strong ability to work with speed and accuracy under pressure.

Secondary Functions

  • Proactively and enthusiastically promote the store's gift wrapping services to customers on the sales floor to drive service utilization and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Diligently monitor and manage inventory levels for all gift wrapping supplies—including paper, boxes, ribbons, and tissue—and promptly communicate restocking needs to management to prevent any service interruptions.
  • Uphold an impeccably clean, organized, and fully stocked gift wrap station, ensuring all materials are readily accessible and the area presents a professional and inviting appearance to customers.
  • Provide flexible support to other store departments as directed by management, including assisting with sales floor coverage, restocking merchandise, and providing general customer service during peak business hours.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow gift wrappers, sales associates, and management to create a seamless, positive, and efficient team environment.

  • Advanced Wrapping Techniques: Proficiency in handling packages of all shapes and sizes, including creating crisp edges, seamless folds, and pleated effects.
  • Bow and Embellishment Crafting: The ability to create a variety of beautiful, professional-looking bows (e.g., pom-pom, floral, layered) and creatively apply embellishments.
  • Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise cutting, folding, and tying.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
