Primary Functions
- Precisely measure job sites and existing openings to determine the exact dimensions required for glass fabrication and installation.
- Fabricate and cut glass, mirrors, and related materials to specified sizes and shapes using specialized glass cutters, cutting tables, and grinders.
- Smooth and polish rough edges on cut glass pieces using belt sanders or polishing wheels to ensure a safe, clean, and professional finish.

- Mount and install interior glass fixtures, including mirrors, shower doors, glass partitions, and decorative panels, in residential and commercial buildings.
- Specialize in automotive glass by carefully removing broken or damaged windshields, side windows, and rear windows from vehicles without damaging the body.
- Prepare automotive frames by meticulously cleaning surfaces and applying primers and adhesives before expertly installing new auto glass.
- Install large, heavy glass panels for commercial storefronts, curtain walls, and entrance systems, often working at heights using scaffolding, swing stages, or aerial lifts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications to fully understand project requirements and complex installation details.

- Safely load and unload large glass panels and installation materials from trucks, ensuring secure handling and transport to and from the job site.
