Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and lead the corporate communications strategy and global editorial narrative that supports long-term business goals, investor relations, product launches, talent attraction, and reputation management across all regions.
  • Build and execute integrated external communications plans (PR, digital, social, thought leadership, and paid amplification) that raise brand awareness, drive consideration, and support pipeline and recruitment objectives.
  • Serve as the lead architect for executive communications: coach C-suite spokespeople, craft keynote addresses, prepare Q&As, develop talking points, and ensure consistent, compelling leadership messaging across global stakeholder audiences.
  • Design and implement crisis and issues communications protocols, lead cross-functional response teams during incidents, prepare scenario-based playbooks, and act as a trusted adviser to executive leadership in high-stakes situations.
  • Oversee global media relations strategy, cultivate relationships with top-tier international and local business and trade journalists, secure timely coverage, and manage spokesperson interviews and media training.
  • Align global messaging with localized market strategies by partnering with regional communications leads to adapt content, timing, and channel mix to cultural and regulatory differences while preserving brand consistency.
  • Lead the development of a content calendar and editorial processes that produce thought leadership, bylined articles, case studies, executive blogs, op-eds, customer stories, and newsroom-ready assets to support PR and demand generation.
  • Manage global social media strategy and governance, set platform priorities, approve executive social content guidelines, and work with digital teams to optimize amplification, engagement and social listening.
  • Develop measurement frameworks and KPIs (share of voice, sentiment, media quality scoring, messaging pull-through, reach, engagement, and business outcomes) and deliver regular executive-level reporting on impact and ROI.
  • Own the communications budget, manage external PR and creative agencies, evaluate agency performance, and negotiate contracts to ensure high-quality global execution within cost targets.
  • Partner closely with Investor Relations, Legal, HR, Product Marketing, Sales and Regulatory teams to ensure aligned messaging, timely approvals, and compliance in all external statements and disclosures.
  • Lead mergers, acquisitions and partnership communications including announcement strategy, investor and employee communications, integration messaging and stakeholder FAQs to safeguard reputation and support deal outcomes.
  • Design and run internal communications programs to inform, engage and align employees globally on strategy, culture, change initiatives and leadership priorities, leveraging town halls, intranet, manager toolkits and localized channels.
  • Drive employer brand and talent communications strategy in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand teams to enhance recruitment marketing, candidate experience and employee advocacy.
  • Guide ESG, sustainability and corporate responsibility communications, ensuring clear narratives and credible reporting of goals, progress, and third-party validation across investor, media and employee audiences.
  • Oversee digital newsroom and content production workflows, ensuring timely press releases, media advisories, multimedia assets and a centralized asset library for global teams.
  • Implement media monitoring, competitive intelligence and sentiment analysis capabilities to surface reputation risks and market opportunities, and translate insights into proactive strategies.
  • Mentor, hire and develop a high-performing global communications team, define clear roles and career paths, and create a culture of creativity, measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and disclosure obligations across jurisdictions; coordinate with legal and investor relations to align messaging during earnings cycles and material events.
  • Lead cross-functional launch teams for major product, partnership or geographic market launches to craft unified go-to-market narratives, press kits, embargo strategies and influencer engagement.
  • Create and maintain stakeholder maps and engagement plans for customers, partners, analysts, policymakers and community stakeholders to proactively manage relationships and influence key audiences.
  • Direct segmentation and personalization strategies for communications targeting, ensuring content relevance and optimized channel choice across global audiences.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion in communications content and team composition, ensuring messages reflect the organization’s values and are accessible across languages and cultures.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field.
