Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and own the global communications strategy and annual communications plan that aligns with corporate objectives, brand positioning, and executive priorities, ensuring measurable KPIs tied to reputation, media share, and employee engagement.
  • Lead integrated campaigns to build thought leadership for the company and its executives across earned, owned, and paid channels, delivering compelling narratives, bylines, op-eds, and multimedia assets that resonate across markets.
  • Serve as the central hub for executive communications: draft and refine speeches, talking points, Q&A, briefings, and presentations for C-suite leaders and board members; coordinate message approval and rehearsal schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships with global and regional journalists, editors, and influencers to secure high-quality coverage, anticipate media opportunities, and proactively pitch strategic stories.
  • Plan and execute proactive media outreach and press release distribution for major corporate announcements, product launches, M&A activity, partnerships, and milestone events while coordinating timing across time zones and regulatory windows.
  • Lead crisis and issues communications: develop scenario-based crisis plans, act as part of the incident response team, craft rapid external and internal messaging, brief leadership, and manage post-incident reputation recovery.
