Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Architect, implement, and continuously refine the company's global operations strategy to align with long-term corporate goals, focusing on scalability, cost-efficiency, and competitive advantage.
  • Assume full ownership and accountability for the global operations P&L, including meticulous budget development, forecasting, variance analysis, and implementing robust cost-control measures to achieve or exceed financial targets.
  • Provide decisive leadership and direct oversight for all international operational functions, including end-to-end supply chain management, procurement, multi-site manufacturing, global logistics, and distribution networks.
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence by championing and deploying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen across all global facilities to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse, geographically dispersed team of senior operational leaders, fostering a high-performance culture characterized by collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
  • Direct the global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure tight alignment between demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity, thereby optimizing working capital and service levels.
  • Spearhead large-scale capital expenditure projects, including new facility construction, site expansions, and the integration of advanced automation and manufacturing technologies to boost capacity and efficiency.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on a comprehensive set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and OKRs for the entire operations division, using data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and performance management.
  • Oversee the global quality assurance and control framework, ensuring all products consistently meet or exceed stringent internal standards and external regulatory requirements in every market.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive risk management and business continuity strategy for global operations, identifying potential disruptions (geopolitical, logistical, supplier-related) and creating robust mitigation plans.
  • Champion and enforce a world-class Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program across all operational sites, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations and promoting a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and manage strategic relationships with key global suppliers, 3PL providers, and other critical external partners to secure favorable terms and ensure reliable performance.
  • Evaluate and drive the digital transformation of operations, sponsoring the implementation of new ERP systems, supply chain visibility platforms, and data analytics tools to create a more connected and intelligent operational ecosystem.

Secondary Functions

  • Collaborate intimately with the Product Development and R&D teams to ensure seamless new product introductions (NPI), providing critical input on design for manufacturability and supply chain readiness.
  • Partner with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and finance teams on long-range financial planning, M&A due diligence, and integration activities related to operational functions.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the formulation of the overall company strategy, market expansion plans, and annual operating plans.
  • Act as the primary operational representative in discussions with key global customers, participating in strategic business reviews to align operational capabilities with customer expectations.
  • Direct global inventory strategy and management, establishing policies and systems to optimize stock levels across the network, minimize carrying costs, and prevent obsolescence.
  • Stay abreast of global market trends, emerging technologies, and geopolitical shifts that could impact the company's operational landscape, providing proactive recommendations to the executive team.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service leadership to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach from order to delivery.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • P&L Management & Financial Acumen: Deep expertise in building and managing multi-million dollar operational budgets, financial modeling, and driving profitability.
  • Global Supply Chain & Logistics Mastery: In-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain design, international freight, customs, 3PL management, and network optimization.
  • Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement: Certified or expert-level proficiency in applying methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI tools to drive tangible business results.
  • Advanced ERP & Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and modern supply chain technologies (e.g., WMS, TMS).

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
