Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Strategically manage and oversee the end-to-end resource allocation process for all projects across multiple global regions, ensuring alignment with project pipelines and business priorities.
- Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Project Management, and Delivery teams to accurately forecast resource demand based on the sales pipeline and upcoming project needs.
- Lead and facilitate weekly and ad-hoc resource planning meetings with global leadership and stakeholders to resolve staffing conflicts, prioritize requests, and ensure optimal project coverage.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive, forward-looking capacity plan that provides clear visibility into resource availability, constraints, and projected hiring needs.
- Analyze and optimize global resource utilization and billability rates, providing regular, insightful reporting to leadership on key performance indicators and trends.
- Proactively identify and address potential resource gaps, over-allocations, and skill shortages by collaborating with Talent Acquisition on hiring needs and with L&D on training initiatives.
- Resolve complex and sensitive staffing escalations with diplomacy, balancing the critical needs of the business with the professional development and well-being of our team members.
- Govern the integrity of data within our Professional Services Automation (PSA) or Resource Management tool, ensuring all project assignments, forecasts, and employee skills are current and accurate.
- Partner with finance and operations teams to forecast revenue and project margins based on staffing plans and utilization targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the resource management function, refining processes, introducing best practices, and enhancing system capabilities to increase efficiency.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive skills matrix and talent directory to enable quick and effective identification of qualified resources for incoming projects.
- Manage the process for sourcing and onboarding third-party contractors and partners to augment internal capacity and fulfill specialized skill requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to delivery leaders and project managers on all matters related to staffing, team composition, and resource planning best practices.
- Create and present executive-level summaries and dashboards on resource health, including utilization analysis, bench reporting, forecasting accuracy, and risk assessment.
- Champion the resource management discipline across the organization, demonstrating its value as a strategic enabler of successful project delivery and financial performance.

Experience Requirements
