Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, maintain, and automate comprehensive sales performance dashboards and reports for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and variance against targets.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales cycle velocity to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform detailed win/loss analysis by synthesizing data from the CRM and feedback from the sales team to uncover key drivers and competitive insights.
  • Manage and refine the global sales forecasting process, working closely with regional sales leaders to improve accuracy and predictability of revenue streams.
  • Analyze sales team performance against quotas and incentive plans, providing data-driven recommendations for territory alignment, quota setting, and compensation adjustments.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to measure the effectiveness of go-to-market strategies, lead generation campaigns, and their impact on the sales funnel.
  • Identify and interpret long-term sales trends, market dynamics, and customer behaviors to inform strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Support the annual and quarterly business planning cycle by providing historical performance analysis and predictive models for goal setting.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring data integrity, developing new reports, and training sales reps on best practices for data entry.
  • Build and maintain complex data models to track customer lifetime value (CLV), cost of customer acquisition (CAC), and other key SaaS metrics.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders through compelling presentations and written summaries.
  • Partner with the Finance department to reconcile sales data with financial reporting and support commission calculation and validation processes.
  • Evaluate and analyze the performance of different sales channels, segments, and regions to recommend strategies for growth and optimization.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the global sales organization, creating an early-warning system for performance deviations.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into specific product lines or customer segments to uncover untapped revenue potential or areas of underperformance.
  • Support the sales leadership team with data and analysis for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), board meetings, and other executive presentations.
  • Drive the enhancement of sales analytics tools and platforms, working with IT and BI teams to scope new requirements and improve data accessibility.
    s- Partner with Sales Enablement to identify coaching opportunities for the sales team based on performance data and activity metrics.
  • Analyze pricing and discount structures to assess their impact on deal velocity and profitability, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Create and manage a framework for territory and account segmentation, ensuring equitable distribution of opportunities and market coverage.
  • Lead projects to improve data quality and process automation within the sales technology stack, reducing manual effort and increasing reporting reliability.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets: Mastery of pivot tables, complex formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), data modeling, and macros.
  • CRM Proficiency: Deep expertise in Salesforce (SFDC) or a similar enterprise-level CRM, including reporting, dashboard creation, and understanding of the data object model.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Tools: Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Qlik.
  • SQL: Strong ability to write complex queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • Data Modeling & Forecasting: Proven experience in building statistical models for sales forecasting and predictive analytics.
  • Presentation Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint and Google Slides to visually represent data and analytical findings to an executive audience.
  • Python or R (Preferred): Familiarity with a scripting language for data analysis and automation is a significant plus.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
