Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Assisting senior engineers in the comprehensive design and development of new products, systems, or infrastructure from initial concept through to final implementation.
- Preparing and meticulously reviewing detailed technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models using CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
- Conducting hands-on testing, experiments, and data analysis on prototypes and components to verify performance, identify failure points, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Authoring clear and concise technical reports, project documentation, and progress summaries for internal stakeholders and project managers.
- Providing direct support to project managers by helping to track project timelines, manage resources, and coordinate tasks across different engineering disciplines.

- Executing complex engineering calculations, including stress analysis, fluid dynamics, and thermal modeling, to support and validate design decisions.

- Ensuring all design work and documentation strictly adheres to relevant industry codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Assisting in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and contributing to cost estimation activities for new projects and proposals.
- Developing and documenting standardized test procedures and protocols to ensure consistent and repeatable evaluation of products and systems.
- Providing on-site or field support during the installation, commissioning, or maintenance phases of a project, which may involve some travel.
- Utilizing simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink) to model system behavior and predict performance under various operating conditions.
- Communicating with external suppliers and vendors to clarify technical specifications, obtain quotes, and manage the procurement of components.
- Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in processes and proposing practical, data-driven solutions.
