Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Support the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social media, paid ads, and content marketing.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging, on-brand content across all corporate social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) to grow our audience and enhance brand engagement.
  • Assist in the creation and copywriting of diverse marketing collateral, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, website copy, and video scripts, ensuring brand voice and consistency.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging industry trends, customer pain points, and strategic opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and digital channels using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and email marketing platforms to provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in managing the company's website content using our CMS (e.g., WordPress), ensuring all information is up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for search engines.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and promotion of both virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, trade shows, and customer workshops, from conception to post-event follow-up.
  • Help build and manage segmented email lists and assist in the deployment of email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, and automated nurture sequences.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop effective sales enablement materials and ensure tight alignment between marketing efforts and revenue goals.
  • Perform foundational SEO tasks, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and assisting with backlink outreach to improve organic search rankings.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner, fostering a positive brand image and customer relationships.
  • Contribute creative ideas during team brainstorming sessions for new campaigns, content topics, and innovative marketing strategies.
  • Maintain the marketing team’s master content calendar, ensuring all activities are scheduled, assigned, and completed on time to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with the internal design team and external agencies to request and provide feedback on visual assets for social media, ad campaigns, and website properties.
  • Support the paid media specialist by assisting with the setup, monitoring, and basic optimization of PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports and presentations for marketing meetings, translating raw data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for the wider team.

Secondary Functions

  • Manage and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with new leads and marketing-related data to ensure data integrity and support lead nurturing.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing department, including managing invoices, scheduling cross-functional meetings, and organizing our digital asset library.
  • Curate and source relevant third-party content for sharing on our social media channels and in newsletters to provide value to our audience.
  • Track marketing budget spend and assist in the reconciliation of expenses against planned activities and campaigns.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new website features, landing pages, and marketing-related software implementations to ensure a seamless user experience.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Marketing Analytics: Foundational knowledge of Google Analytics for tracking website traffic and campaign performance.
  • Social Media Platforms & Tools: Proficiency with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) and familiarity with management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Email Marketing: Basic experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Constant Contact.
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Familiarity with a CMS such as WordPress for content updates and publishing.
  • SEO/SEM Principles: A solid understanding of the basics of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing.
  • Productivity Suites: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
