Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Provide daily leadership, training, and direct supervision to a dedicated team of groundskeepers, irrigation technicians, and seasonal staff to foster a culture of excellence and safety.

Meticulously monitor turf and plant health, accurately diagnosing issues such as disease, insect infestation, or nutrient deficiencies, and implementing timely corrective actions.
Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety standards (including OSHA guidelines) and procedures for all groundskeeping tasks, particularly chemical handling and equipment operation.
Maintain a detailed and accurate inventory of all grounds-related supplies, including chemicals, fertilizers, seed, and tools, and manage the procurement process within budgetary constraints.
Operate and provide training on a wide range of light and heavy-duty groundskeeping equipment, such as commercial mowers, tractors, aerators, sprayers, and utility vehicles.
