Primary Functions
- Proactively greet and engage with customers on the sales floor, offering friendly assistance in locating products and answering inquiries about pricing, promotions, and store layout.

- Unload and receive merchandise from delivery trucks, verifying the accuracy of shipments against invoices and reporting any discrepancies, shortages, or damages to management.
- Safely operate and maintain backroom equipment, including electric and manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and box cutters, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of store products, including their location, key features, and general use, to provide informed recommendations and superior assistance to customers.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure the accuracy of on-hand stock levels and help identify potential sources of shrinkage.
- Break down cardboard boxes and properly dispose of or recycle them, contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the backroom and sales floor.
- Meticulously face and condition products on shelves, pulling items to the front to create a full, neat, and appealing appearance for shoppers throughout the day.
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints or issues with professionalism and courtesy, escalating to a manager when necessary to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
