Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Direct and oversee all aspects of grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilization, to ensure the highest standards of aesthetic appeal and horticultural health.
- Develop and implement comprehensive landscape management programs, including integrated pest management (IPM), turf care schedules, and seasonal planting designs.

- Create and manage the annual grounds department budget, including forecasting expenses for labor, equipment, materials, and contractor services.

- Plan, coordinate, and manage seasonal grounds activities, such as spring cleanup, fall leaf removal, and comprehensive snow and ice removal operations.
- Supervise the operation and maintenance of complex irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water usage and optimal plant health through regular audits and adjustments.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve potential issues related to plant health, safety hazards, and overall landscape appearance.
