  • Meticulously evaluate the structural integrity of each instrument, checking for proper neck-to-body joint stability, bridge adhesion, and any signs of wood cracking or stress.
  • Perform detailed fretwork evaluations, identifying and flagging issues such as high frets, sharp fret ends, and uneven fret height that could impact playability.
  • Execute full playability tests on every instrument to assess its feel and performance, listening for any fret buzz, wolf tones, or other acoustic anomalies.
  • Perform complete and precise instrument setups, including adjusting the truss rod for optimal neck relief, setting string action at the nut and saddle, and fine-tuning intonation.
  • Thoroughly test all electronic components on electric and acoustic-electric models, ensuring pickups, potentiometers, switches, and output jacks are fully functional and free of static or noise.
  • Verify that all hardware, including tuning machines, bridges, strap buttons, and knobs, is correctly installed, secure, and functions smoothly.
  • Check neck straightness and angle, ensuring they fall within our precise manufacturing specifications for optimal long-term stability and playability.
  • Evaluate the quality and cut of the nut, ensuring proper string spacing and height to prevent tuning issues and open-string buzz.
  • Diagnose and perform minor repairs on the spot, such as filing sharp fret ends, re-seating loose hardware, or performing minor electronic soldering.
  • Accurately document all inspection findings, defects, and adjustments made in our quality management system with a high degree of detail and consistency.
  • Prepare, clean, and polish guitars to a showroom-ready condition after the inspection and setup process is complete.
  • Reject and quarantine instruments that do not meet quality standards, providing clear and constructive feedback to the production or receiving departments.
  • Compare instruments against technical specification sheets and product photography to ensure they match the intended design, color, and component list.
