Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conducting in-depth, personalized client consultations to assess hair type, density, condition, and lifestyle to recommend the most suitable extension type and application method.
  • Expertly matching hair extension color, texture, and density to the client's natural hair to achieve a completely seamless and undetectable blend.
  • Performing precise and safe application of various hair extension methods, including but not limited to keratin-bond (K-Tip), tape-in, I-tip (micro-link), and weft (sew-in, beaded) installations.
  • Customizing extensions by expertly cutting, blending, and texturizing them to integrate flawlessly with the client's natural hair and desired style.
  • Educating clients thoroughly on proper at-home aftercare, including washing, brushing, and styling techniques to prolong the life of the extensions and maintain hair health.
  • Recommending and selling appropriate professional hair care products and tools necessary for maintaining the integrity of both the extensions and the natural hair.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance appointments, which include repositioning, tightening, or re-applying extensions as needed based on the client's hair growth and extension type.
  • Safely and gently removing extensions using correct tools and solvents to prevent damage to the client's natural hair.
  • Building and maintaining a loyal client base through exceptional service, consistent results, and fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Maintaining a detailed portfolio of work, including high-quality before-and-after photos, to showcase skills and attract new clientele.
  • Accurately quoting prices for services and hair, ensuring transparency with clients regarding the total investment and ongoing maintenance costs.
