Primary Functions

- Verify the accuracy of chick counts, boxing, and labeling to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly and all documentation is complete.
- Serve as a key point of contact during third-party audits and regulatory inspections (e.g., NPIP, CFIA, customer audits), providing documentation and demonstrating compliant processes.
- Regularly review and provide feedback on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality, biosecurity, and animal welfare to promote continuous improvement.
- Generate and present detailed reports on key performance indicators such as hatch rate, cull rate, chick quality scores, and environmental monitoring results to the hatchery management team.
