Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Strategic Program Design & Development: Conceptualize, build, and continuously refine a multi-faceted wellness strategy that aligns with business objectives and addresses the diverse needs of our employee population across physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being.
  • End-to-End Program Lifecycle Management: Oversee all aspects of program execution, from initial ideation and business case development through to implementation, promotion, ongoing management, and post-program analysis.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership Alignment: Act as the primary liaison for wellness initiatives, cultivating strong relationships with senior leadership, HR business partners, and employee resource groups to secure buy-in, communicate progress, and ensure programs are deeply integrated across the business.
  • Budget and Financial Oversight: Spearhead the end-to-end financial management of all HFW programs, including meticulous budget creation, forecasting, and tracking of expenditures to ensure optimal resource allocation and a strong return on investment.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of external wellness vendors, partners, and consultants; manage contract negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), and ongoing partner performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Data-Driven Program Evaluation & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to rigorously assess program participation, engagement, and impact; leverage data analytics to generate actionable insights and produce compelling reports for leadership.
  • Comprehensive Communication and Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute creative, multi-channel communication campaigns to drive awareness, excitement, and participation in all wellness programs, ensuring messaging is inclusive, engaging, and culturally relevant.
  • Holistic Wellness Pillar Integration: Ensure a balanced and integrated approach to wellness, championing initiatives that support mental health (e.g., EAP, mindfulness apps), physical health (e.g., fitness challenges, ergonomic support), and financial literacy (e.g., workshops, planning tools).
  • Innovation and Industry Trend Analysis: Proactively research and stay at the forefront of emerging trends, best practices, and new technologies in the corporate wellness space to ensure our programs remain competitive, innovative, and effective.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to wellness champions, committee members, or direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment dedicated to the wellness mission.
  • Event and Initiative Execution: Plan and manage the logistics for large-scale wellness events, such as health fairs, guest speaker series, fitness challenges, and mental health awareness campaigns, from conception to completion.
  • Wellness Technology Platform Management: Administer and optimize the organization’s wellness platform(s), ensuring a seamless user experience, maximizing engagement features, and leveraging the platform's data for program insights.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure all wellness programs and communications comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, GINA, and ADA, to protect both the employee and the organization.
  • Participant Engagement and Feedback Mechanisms: Design and implement robust feedback loops, such as surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one discussions, to capture the voice of the employee and continuously tailor programs to meet their evolving needs.
  • Fostering a Culture of Health: Act as a visible and passionate advocate for well-being, actively working to embed healthy norms and behaviors into the company culture, leadership practices, and physical work environment.
  • Health Equity and Inclusion Integration: Design and promote wellness initiatives with a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring programs are accessible, relevant, and supportive for all employees, regardless of location, role, or background.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:

  • Master's Degree
  • Professional Certifications such as Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP), or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Typical Experience Range: 5-8 years of professional experience.
