Primary Functions

  • Develop and execute diverse, creative, and nutritionally balanced weekly menus based on the principals' preferences, dietary restrictions, and health objectives.
  • Skillfully prepare and serve daily meals—typically breakfast, lunch, and dinner—ensuring each dish is executed to a consistently high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Manage and accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements, including serious allergies, food intolerances, and specific lifestyle diets such as vegan, gluten-free, paleo, or ketogenic.
  • Source and procure the highest quality, freshest ingredients from a variety of vendors, including specialty food shops, local farms, and farmers' markets.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute menus for a variety of in-home events, ranging from casual family gatherings and children’s parties to formal, multi-course dinner parties and holiday celebrations.
  • Maintain an impeccable standard of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including all surfaces, appliances, and storage areas, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Take full responsibility for the proper storage of all food items, including correct labeling, dating, and rotation (FIFO) of stock in refrigerators, freezers, and pantries to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
