Primary Functions

  • Develop tailored gear bundles for guided hunts, youth programs, or new-hunter packages and collaborate with outfitting partners to create special order kits and seasonal promotions.
  • Provide honest, safety-conscious guidance about hunting apparel choices that affect concealment, mobility and safety (e.g., blaze orange requirements, hearing protection compatibility with headwear, clothing layered for cold-weather survival).
  • Attend trade shows, brand training days and vendor summits to stay current on new fabrics, treatments (e.g., scent-masking), pattern trends and technological advances in hunting apparel.
  • Manage local marketing and community outreach efforts: coordinate with hunting clubs, range events, conservation groups and guide services to host co-branded events and drive store awareness.
  • Resolve customer escalations and service issues related to fit, performance or product defects with empathy; negotiate reasonable resolutions and document incidents to inform vendor quality feedback.
