Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively engage with customers on the sales floor, building rapport and utilizing discovery questions to accurately assess their hunting style, target species, and experience level.

- Execute all firearm transactions with 100% accuracy and compliance, including the meticulous completion of Federal Form 4473 and adherence to all ATF, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of current hunting product trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings through continuous training and personal research.
- Assist in the receiving, stocking, and merchandising of all hunting department inventory, ensuring the sales floor is well-organized, visually appealing, and easy to navigate.
- Uphold all store safety and security protocols, with a heightened focus on the secure handling, storage, and display of firearms and ammunition.
- Actively promote and process sales of hunting licenses, tags, and permits, staying informed about local and state hunting seasons and regulations.
- Assist customers with special orders, product transfers, and layaway programs, ensuring a seamless process and clear communication.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and policies both in-person and over the phone with professionalism and accuracy.
