Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conceptualize and produce a wide array of digital assets, including social media graphics, web banners, email campaign visuals, and blog post imagery.
  • Design and format materials for print, such as brochures, event signage, direct mail pieces, and internal communication documents, ensuring they are press-ready.
  • Perform advanced photo editing, retouching, and color correction to ensure all photography assets meet high-quality standards and align with brand aesthetics.
  • Develop and create original illustrations, icons, and other custom graphic elements that enhance visual narratives and user experience.
  • Uphold and enforce brand identity standards, ensuring all visual content is consistent in terms of style, typography, color palette, and logo usage across all channels.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and product teams to understand project requirements and translate campaign strategies into effective visual designs.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to contribute innovative ideas for visual storytelling and campaign concepts.
  • Manage a high volume of design requests simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing timelines from concept to completion.
  • Prepare and present design concepts and mockups to stakeholders, clearly articulating design choices and incorporating feedback constructively.
  • Create and maintain a well-organized library of visual assets, including photos, logos, templates, and design files for easy access and reuse by the wider team.
  • Stay current with the latest design trends, industry software, and best practices in visual communication to ensure the brand's creative remains fresh and relevant.
  • Design compelling visuals for presentations and slide decks for both internal and external audiences, enhancing the clarity and impact of the information.
  • Adapt and resize existing creative assets for different platforms and specifications, ensuring optimal performance and visual integrity on web, mobile, and social media.
  • Create visual style guides and design templates to streamline the production of frequently needed assets and empower other teams with on-brand materials.
  • Work with photographers or source stock imagery, providing clear direction to ensure the final visuals align with project goals and brand identity.
  • Develop visual compositions and layouts that are aesthetically pleasing, well-balanced, and effective in communicating a specific message to a target audience.
  • Execute designs for digital advertising campaigns, including static and animated display ads, ensuring they adhere to the technical specifications of various ad networks.
  • Refine and iterate on designs based on performance data and A/B testing results to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Secondary Functions

  • Provide design support for internal branding initiatives, such as office environment graphics, company swag, and employee engagement materials.
  • Assist UI/UX designers by creating graphical assets like icons, buttons, and other interface elements for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with the video production team by designing static graphics, lower thirds, and thumbnails for video content.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Expert Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Deep, hands-on expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is non-negotiable.
  • Digital & Print Design Principles: Strong understanding of layout, composition, and grid systems for both screen and paper.
  • Typography: A keen eye for font pairing, hierarchy, and readability to effectively convey tone and message.
  • Color Theory: In-depth knowledge of color psychology, palettes, and application to create mood and ensure brand consistency.
  • Photo Retouching & Manipulation: Advanced skills in editing, compositing, and correcting photographic images.
  • Illustration & Iconography: The ability to create original vector-based graphics and icon sets from scratch.
