Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design, develop, and continuously refine the incubation program's curriculum, structure, and key milestones to meet the evolving needs of early-stage founders.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for new cohorts, including outreach, application screening, due diligence, and final selection committee presentations to ensure a pipeline of high-potential ventures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for portfolio startups, providing hands-on, intensive coaching on business model validation, product-market fit, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Cultivate and manage a high-caliber network of industry experts, seasoned entrepreneurs, and investors to serve as mentors, advisors, and speakers for the program.
  • Facilitate impactful connections between startups and the broader ecosystem, including potential customers, strategic partners, and follow-on funding sources.
  • Organize and execute all programmatic events, including workshops, masterclasses, networking sessions, mentor office hours, and the culminating Demo Day or investor showcase.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both the program and individual startups, preparing regular progress reports for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provide practical guidance on fundraising strategy, including pitch deck development, financial modeling, valuation, and navigating the venture capital landscape.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to help startups identify unique value propositions and defensible market positions.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the incubator, ensuring a productive and collaborative environment for all participating founders and teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with university partners, corporate sponsors, government agencies, and other ecosystem players to enhance the incubator's resources and reputation.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive resource library, including templates, legal documents, and best-practice guides, to support startup operations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the incubator, representing the program at industry conferences, panels, and networking events to attract talent and partners.
  • Mediate and resolve challenges or conflicts within founding teams, offering a balanced perspective and frameworks for effective collaboration.
  • Assist startups in navigating early-stage legal and administrative hurdles, such as incorporation, intellectual property protection, and cap table management.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to streamline program management and enhance the founder experience.
