Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, execute, and manage end-to-end influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns that successfully achieve brand awareness and performance goals.
  • Lead the identification, vetting, and recruitment of a diverse portfolio of creators, influencers, and brand ambassadors, ensuring deep alignment with brand values, target audience demographics, and specific campaign aesthetics.
  • Build and nurture strong, authentic, and lasting relationships with influencers, creators, and their management agencies through proactive and thoughtful communication.
  • Negotiate and manage complex contracts, including deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity clauses, and compensation, ensuring terms are favorable and protect the brand's interests.
  • Oversee all aspects of campaign execution, from initial briefing and creative concepting to content review, ensuring all influencer-generated content is high-quality, on-brand, and compliant with FTC guidelines.
  • Meticulously track and manage campaign budgets, process payments, and ensure a positive return on investment through careful financial oversight and resource allocation.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, utilizing key metrics like engagement rates, reach, impressions, CPM, conversions, and sentiment to derive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader marketing team—including social media, PR, content, and paid media—to ensure influencer campaigns are seamlessly integrated into larger brand initiatives.
  • Manage the product seeding and gifting program, from curating personalized packages to tracking unboxing moments and fostering organic brand advocacy.
  • Stay at the forefront of the creator economy, continuously monitoring industry trends, emerging social media platforms, new content formats, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
  • Utilize influencer marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Grin, Aspire, Upfluence) to streamline workflow, discover talent, manage campaigns, and measure results effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive creative briefs that clearly communicate campaign objectives, key messaging, content requirements, and brand guidelines to ensure creators are set up for success.
  • Coordinate the logistics for influencer participation in brand events, photoshoots, and other experiential marketing activations, managing travel and on-site needs.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on influencer marketing, educating stakeholders and providing strategic recommendations on how to best leverage creators.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis and create detailed wrap-up reports to present findings, key learnings, and recommendations for future initiatives to leadership.

Secondary Functions

  • Support the social media team by identifying top-performing influencer content that can be repurposed and amplified across the brand's owned channels.
  • Contribute to the development of the organization's overall digital marketing strategy by providing insights on audience behavior and content trends from the creator landscape.
  • Collaborate with the legal and finance departments to ensure all influencer contracts and payment processes are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in managing and updating the internal database of influencers, tracking relationship history, performance data, and other key information.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Influencer Marketing Platforms: Proficiency in using tools like Grin, Aspire, CreatorIQ, or Upfluence for discovery, campaign management, and reporting.
  • Social Media Analytics: Deep understanding of native analytics on platforms (Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Analytics) and third-party tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social).
  • Contract Negotiation & Management: Proven ability to negotiate contracts, including terms for compensation, content usage rights, and exclusivity, with creators and agencies.
  • Budget & Financial Tracking: Experience creating and managing campaign budgets, tracking spend, calculating ROI, and processing invoices.
  • Project Management Software: Competency in using tools like Asana, Monday.com, or Trello to manage complex campaign timelines and deliverables.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience in a directly related role.
