Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Lead end-to-end product development initiatives including opportunity identification, concept development, prototyping, testing, pilot launches and scale-up to commercial production, ensuring alignment to business objectives and KPI targets.

- Oversee pilot programs and beta tests, coordinate metrics collection and data analysis to refine product features and assess readiness for scale.
- Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a prioritized product backlog in collaboration with product owners and engineering teams.
- Lead go-to-market planning including positioning, launch timing, pricing strategy, channel enablement, sales training, and post-launch performance measurement.
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies; perform market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis to inform strategic product decisions and identify white-space opportunities.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships for outsourced prototyping, contract manufacturing and component sourcing; negotiate terms and ensure quality and cost targets are met.
- Coordinate regulatory and compliance activities, ensuring product designs meet applicable industry standards, certifications and safety requirements.
- Champion intellectual property strategy by working with legal to evaluate patentability, manage filings, and protect core innovations and trade secrets.
- Establish and track product performance metrics (adoption, retention, revenue, margin, time-to-market) and present actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement and post-launch optimization through root cause analysis, customer feedback loops, and cross-functional retrospectives.
- Translate technical and market insights into clear product documentation including technical specs, test plans, release notes and training materials for internal teams.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for development timelines, cost overruns, supply chain disruptions and technical uncertainties.
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, communicating complex ideas clearly and aligning teams around prioritization and delivery milestones.
