  • Collect, clean, and transform consumer, transactional, and third‑party data for analysis; ensure data integrity and reproducibility of insight outputs across multiple sources (CRM, web analytics, survey platforms).
  • Build, maintain, and automate executive- and stakeholder-facing dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to surface trends, campaign performance, product adoption metrics, and growth opportunities in near real-time.
  • Perform advanced data analysis including segmentation, cohort analysis, lifetime value modeling, churn drivers, and funnel conversion diagnosis to identify opportunities to optimize product and marketing strategies.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into concise insight narratives, one-page executive summaries, and recommended action plans tailored to distinct audiences (marketing, product, growth, leadership).
  • Lead competitive and market landscape analyses, synthesizing public data, social listening, industry reports, and competitor positioning to identify threats, white spaces, and category trends.
  • Coordinate and oversee external research vendors and agencies β€” define scopes of work, manage timelines, ensure methodological rigor, and synthesize deliverables into the organization’s insight repository.
  • Design and implement customer feedback programs: NPS, CSAT, customer interviews, usability studies, and beta feedback cycles β€” aggregate results and recommend product and service improvements.
  • Prioritize insight requests by business impact and resource availability; maintain a transparent insight backlog and SLA expectations for internal partners.
  • Run hypothesis-driven tests, synthesize A/B test results and multi-variant experiments, and provide clear statistical interpretations that inform product and marketing decisions.
  • Partner closely with product managers and data engineers to define data requirements and instrument events to enable future analysis and measurement frameworks.
  • Create and maintain a centralized knowledge base and insights library that documents past projects, methodologies, datasets, key findings, and follow-up actions to avoid duplication and accelerate decision-making.
  • Facilitate cross-functional insight workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder briefings to co-create priorities, align on business questions, and translate insights into measurable initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on core business KPIs and monthly/quarterly health metrics to identify anomalies, emergent trends, and areas requiring deep-dive analysis.
  • Conduct ad-hoc exploratory analyses to answer urgent stakeholder questions and rapidly prototype visualizations and models to support decision-making under time constraints.
  • Ensure all insight activities adhere to data privacy, security, and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA) and coordinate with legal or privacy teams when handling PII or sensitive datasets.
  • Implement and maintain reproducible analysis workflows and documentation (code notebooks, SQL scripts, data dictionaries) to increase analytical velocity and knowledge transfer.
  • Train and mentor junior analysts and cross-functional partners on data tools, interpretation best practices, and how to leverage the insight repository and dashboards.
  • Measure and communicate the impact of insight-driven recommendations against business objectives; track follow-through and outcomes of implemented recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop measurement frameworks and attribution models for campaigns, content, and channel performance to inform budget and creative strategy.
  • Translate qualitative research outputs (interview transcripts, open-ended survey responses) into thematic coding, personas, and story-driven recommendations that complement quantitative findings.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for multiple concurrent insight initiatives while balancing speed and methodological rigor.
  • Identify and recommend new data sources, analytics tools, and research techniques that improve insight quality, reduce time-to-insight, or unlock new strategic questions.
  • Prepare materials and present findings at stakeholder meetings, leadership reviews, and cross-functional standups to ensure insight adoption and alignment with business priorities.
  • Conduct voice of customer (VoC) program analysis to detect sentiment, recurring product issues, and feature requests; partner with product and support teams to prioritize fixes and roadmap items.

Secondary Functions
