Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and implement tailored investment strategies and comprehensive financial plans for individual, family, and institutional clients by assessing goals, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, tax considerations, and time horizon.
  • Construct, monitor, and rebalance diversified client portfolios across equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, and cash equivalents to optimize risk-adjusted returns aligned with client objectives.
  • Conduct deep-dive investment research and due diligence on securities, funds, and manager selection; synthesize market research and macroeconomic insights into actionable allocation recommendations.
  • Deliver expert asset allocation advice, scenario analysis, and stress-testing to ensure client portfolios are resilient to market volatility and aligned with financial objectives.
  • Prepare, present, and clearly communicate detailed investment proposals, periodic performance reviews, and customized reporting to clients and prospects, explaining returns, risks, fees, and strategy changes.
  • Manage the client onboarding lifecycle: account opening, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, suitability assessments, and coordinated documentation to meet regulatory and firm standards.
  • Execute trades and coordinate with trading desks, custodians, and operations teams to ensure accurate, timely settlement and reconciliation of client transactions.
  • Provide ongoing financial planning services including retirement income planning, cash flow modeling, tax-aware investing strategies, education funding, and legacy/estate planning coordination.
  • Drive client retention and satisfaction through proactive relationship management, regular touchpoints, and a high-touch service model for high-net-worth and mass-affluent clients.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, client referrals, networking, seminars, digital outreach, and collaboration with branch teams to meet and exceed revenue and AUM growth targets.
  • Ensure all investment recommendations and client interactions comply with applicable securities regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, FCA or local regulators), internal compliance policies, and fiduciary standards.
  • Coordinate with external professionals—tax advisors, estate attorneys, insurance specialists—to implement comprehensive wealth strategies and to address multi-disciplinary client needs.
  • Monitor portfolios continuously, prepare tactical and strategic reallocation recommendations, and execute tax-efficient maneuvers such as tax-loss harvesting and tax-aware trade implementation.
  • Maintain and update client records, financial plans, account documentation, and interaction notes in CRM and portfolio management systems to ensure audit readiness and consistent service delivery.
  • Design and deliver client education programs, market outlook webinars, and thought leadership materials to demonstrate expertise and deepen client engagement and trust.
  • Negotiate and clearly disclose advisory fees, performance-based fees (where applicable), conflicts of interest, and service-level agreements to clients transparently.

  • Support team-based management of complex client relationships, including coordination of service teams for custody, lending, credit, and trust services for affluent and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
