Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Reconcile daily trade activity across OMS, PMS, custodian, prime broker, and middle-office systems; identify and investigate trade breaks, identify root causes, communicate with brokers/custodians, and ensure timely resolution to achieve straight-through processing (STP) targets.
- Execute and monitor the full trade lifecycle (pre-trade confirmations, trade capture, allocation, affirmation, matching, settlement and post-trade corrections) for equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, and OTC instruments to minimize settlement fails and counterparty risk.
- Prepare, review and validate daily Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for funds, including valuation verification, accruals, corporate actions, fee and expense calculations, and variance analysis versus prior periods and benchmarks.
- Manage cash and collateral balances across bank and custodian accounts: perform cash forecasting, process funding/withdrawals, reconcile bank statements, and coordinate wire payments and SWIFT messaging to support settlement activity.
