Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Actively participate in a comprehensive training program to develop a deep understanding of gemology, precious metals, and the brand's specific collections and history.
  • Strive to achieve and exceed personal and team sales targets by applying learned sales techniques and providing an exceptional level of customer service.
  • Engage with clients on the sales floor to understand their needs, celebrate their special occasions, and provide personalized recommendations and styling advice.
  • Master the art of storytelling to convey the inspiration, craftsmanship, and unique value behind each piece of jewelry, creating an emotional connection with the client.
  • Develop and maintain a personal client book by proactively capturing client information and consistently performing outreach and follow-up communication.
  • Expertly guide clients through the characteristics of diamonds (the 4Cs) and other gemstones, educating them to make confident and informed purchasing decisions.
  • Handle all point-of-sale (POS) transactions with precision, including processing sales, returns, exchanges, and managing different payment methods.
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships that extend beyond a single transaction, aiming to become their trusted advisor for all future jewelry needs.
  • Assist clients with after-sales service inquiries, including cleaning, repairs, and resizing, ensuring a seamless and positive brand experience at every touchpoint.
  • Maintain impeccable personal presentation and a professional demeanor that reflects the high standards of the luxury brand.
  • Uphold the visual integrity of the boutique by ensuring all displays are pristine, well-organized, and merchandised according to company directives.

Secondary Functions

  • Meticulously assist with daily store operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and end-of-day reporting.
  • Participate in regular stock-taking and inventory management processes to ensure merchandise accuracy and security.
  • Adhere strictly to all loss prevention policies and security protocols to safeguard the company's valuable assets.
  • Support the planning and execution of in-store events, trunk shows, and new collection launches to drive traffic and sales.
  • Keep the sales floor, consultation areas, and back-of-house spaces clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store-wide objectives, fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment.
  • Process special orders, custom design requests, and repair intake forms with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
