Primary Functions

  • Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics between candidates and employer contacts, confirming details, arranging accommodations, and managing follow-ups and feedback loops.
  • Conduct targeted employer outreach and relationship building, communicate candidate pipelines, coordinate on-site recruitment events, and negotiate job requirements and hiring timelines.
  • Facilitate job readiness workshops and group trainings on soft skills, workplace expectations, professional communication, time management, and workplace safety.
  • Track placement outcomes, retention metrics, wage information, and other program KPIs; prepare weekly and monthly reports for program managers and funders.
  • Support onboarding and first-day processes by verifying documentation, coordinating background checks and drug screens, and connecting new hires to orientation and training resources.
  • Identify and refer candidates to supportive services (transportation, childcare, housing, training grants, mental health or substance abuse support) to remove barriers to employment and improve placement sustainability.
  • Assist with job development activities including writing and posting job descriptions, sourcing local labor market information, and creating targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Monitor employer feedback and post-placement follow-up to assess job satisfaction, troubleshoot performance issues, and coordinate retention interventions when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with grant, state, and federal program requirements (WIOA, workforce contracts, nonprofit grants), maintain documentation, and prepare audit-ready records.
  • Collect and analyze candidate and employer data to identify trends, skill gaps, and priority occupations; recommend program or curriculum adjustments to leadership.
  • Support youth and adult program caseloads by documenting case notes, updating service plans, and escalating complex cases to senior staff or case managers.
  • Manage referral relationships with community partners, vocational training providers, and educational institutions to create pipelines for short-term credentialing and apprenticeship opportunities.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
