Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Provide detailed, constructive feedback on client resumes, cover letters, and other application materials to ensure they are ATS-compliant and effectively highlight a candidate's strengths.
  • Manage the lead coach's calendar, meticulously scheduling client consultations, follow-up sessions, and workshops with exceptional accuracy.
  • Co-facilitate or independently conduct mock interview sessions, providing actionable feedback on client responses, body language, and overall presentation skills.
  • Perform targeted research to identify relevant job opportunities for clients based on their career goals, skills, and industry preferences, utilizing various job boards and professional networks.
  • Guide new clients through the complete onboarding process, including collecting intake forms, explaining our coaching methodology, and setting initial expectations.
  • Assist clients in optimizing their LinkedIn profiles, including crafting compelling headlines and summaries, selecting appropriate keywords, and advising on networking best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a library of career resources, including templates, worksheets, and guides on topics such as networking, salary negotiation, and personal branding.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing encouragement, and addressing logistical questions in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner.
  • Monitor and document client progress in our CRM, tracking key metrics such as applications submitted, interviews secured, and job offers received.
  • Collaborate with the lead coach to help clients develop personalized and strategic job search plans, outlining weekly goals and actionable steps.
  • Provide clients with practical guidance on building and leveraging their professional network, including drafting outreach messages and preparing for informational interviews.

  • Execute a systematic follow-up process with past and current clients to ensure satisfaction, offer continued support, and gather testimonials.
  • Support clients in preparing for salary negotiations by researching compensation data and co-facilitating role-playing scenarios with the lead coach.
  • Collect and compile client success stories and testimonials for use in marketing materials and to inspire prospective clients.

Secondary Functions

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for virtual and in-person career workshops and webinars, including setup, registration, and attendee communication.
  • Maintain and organize a digital library of career resources, templates, and client-facing materials, ensuring they are current and easily accessible.
  • Manage client billing and invoicing processes, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate financial records for all coaching services.
  • Contribute to the company's social media and blog content by drafting career tips, success stories, and industry insights to engage our audience.
  • Conduct ongoing research on hiring trends, industry-specific job markets, and compensation benchmarks to provide clients with up-to-date advice.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of a monthly newsletter to our client base and email subscribers.

  • Resume & Cover Letter Editing: Proficiency in resume and cover letter writing, with a strong understanding of modern formatting, keyword integration, and ATS optimization.
  • LinkedIn Optimization: Deep knowledge of LinkedIn as a professional branding and networking tool, including profile optimization and outreach strategies.
    `CRM & Project Management: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) for tracking client progress and tasks.
  • Interview Coaching: Ability to conduct effective mock interviews and provide specific, actionable feedback to improve candidate performance.
  • Digital Research: Strong research skills to efficiently find relevant job leads, company information, and salary data across various online platforms.
  • G-Suite / MS Office: High proficiency with document creation, spreadsheets, and presentation software for creating client-facing materials and internal reports.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range: 2-4 years of experience in a related role.
