Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Expertly prepare a full menu of fresh juices, smoothies, and bowls, meticulously following proprietary recipes to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of commercial kitchen equipment, including cold-press juicers, high-speed blenders, and food processors, following all safety guidelines.
- Provide an exceptional and engaging customer experience by greeting guests, taking orders, and offering personalized recommendations based on their tastes and nutritional goals.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including their ingredients, nutritional benefits, and potential allergens, to confidently address customer inquiries.
- Manage customer transactions with speed and accuracy using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including handling cash, processing credit card payments, and managing loyalty points.
- Wash, chop, and prep a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables daily, ensuring ingredients are ready for service while minimizing waste through proper handling techniques.
- Maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the bar, including workstations, equipment, and customer areas, in strict accordance with health department regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for produce, dry goods, and disposables, communicating restocking needs to management to prevent service disruptions.
- Adhere to all food safety protocols, including FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rotation, proper food storage, temperature logging, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Actively participate in upselling and suggestive selling, introducing customers to add-ins, wellness shots, and retail products to enhance their experience and boost sales.
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries of produce and supplies, verifying quantities against invoices and ensuring all items meet our high-quality standards.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere by communicating effectively with coworkers and offering support during peak hours and busy periods.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the store, including setting up stations, breaking down and cleaning equipment, and completing daily operational checklists.
- Educate customers on the benefits of different ingredients, cleanses, and our overall wellness philosophy to empower them in their health journey.
- Label, date, and properly store all prepared ingredients and bottled juices to ensure freshness, safety, and compliance with food labeling laws.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach, escalating to a manager when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and package online, mobile, and third-party delivery orders with care and accuracy, ensuring they are ready for timely pickup.
- Perform routine deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, including sanitizing refrigerators, cleaning floors, and organizing storage areas to maintain a pristine environment.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new superfoods, and customer preferences to contribute ideas for potential new menu items or specials.
- Diligently follow all company policies and procedures, including attendance, dress code, and code of conduct, to represent the brand professionally.
