Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Assist in the comprehensive design and execution of pre-trial research projects, including mock trials, focus groups, and community attitude surveys to test case themes and arguments.
  • Recruit, screen, and schedule mock jurors and focus group participants, ensuring demographic profiles accurately reflect the trial venue's composition.

  • Perform quantitative analysis on data collected from juror questionnaires and survey instruments using statistical software to identify significant trends and correlations.

  • Develop and manage complex databases of research participants and case data, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media sentiment related to high-profile cases to gauge public opinion and its potential impact on the jury pool.
  • Create and refine case narratives and trial themes in collaboration with the legal team, testing their resonance and persuasive power through structured research.
  • Prepare detailed post-trial interviews with actual jurors to gather insights on the effectiveness of trial strategy and case presentation for future litigation.
