Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Carefully review and interpret work orders, blueprints, and digital templates to ensure a complete understanding of project scope, including measurements, materials, edge profiles, and sink specifications.
Safely and strategically load and unload heavy and delicate countertop slabs and components from company vehicles onto the job site, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
Prepare the installation area by ensuring cabinets are level, secure, and structurally sound, making minor adjustments as needed to create a perfect foundation.
Execute precise on-site measurements and create or verify templates to guarantee an exact fit, accounting for wall variations, appliances, and other fixtures.
Perform on-site fabrication tasks, including cutting and modifying countertops to accommodate sinks, cooktops, and outlets using specialized power tools like grinders, circular saws, and routers.
Expertly join countertop sections by applying industry-best practices for seam setting, using seam pullers and color-matched epoxies to create inconspicuous and durable joints.
Securely mount and level countertops to cabinetry, using appropriate adhesives, shims, and fasteners to ensure long-term stability and a perfectly horizontal surface.
Install undermount and drop-in sinks, ensuring they are properly sealed, clipped, and supported according to manufacturer specifications.
Apply high-quality silicone caulk to seal the backsplash and seams between the countertop and walls, creating a clean, waterproof finish.
Perform detailed finishing work, including polishing surfaces and edges to a smooth, consistent sheen and cleaning the entire work area of dust and debris upon completion.
