Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Safely travel to residential and commercial job sites to execute the full installation of kitchen and bathroom countertops.
- Meticulously review and interpret work orders, design drawings, and digital templates to ensure a complete understanding of project scope and specifications.
- Conduct precise on-site measurements and, when necessary, create accurate physical or digital templates to guide the fabrication process.
- Expertly load, secure, transport, and unload heavy and delicate countertop slabs and pieces, utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment.
- Thoroughly prepare the installation site, which includes verifying that cabinets are level and structurally sound, and protecting floors, walls, and existing fixtures from damage.
- Skillfully perform on-site adjustments, including cutting, grinding, and polishing stone, to achieve a perfect, custom fit around walls, appliances, and fixtures.
- Execute flawless seams and joints with a high degree of precision, ensuring they are level, tightly joined, and color-matched to be as inconspicuous as possible.
- Securely mount and fasten countertops to cabinetry using industry-approved adhesives, mounting brackets, and mechanical fasteners for long-term stability.
- Precisely install undermount and top-mount sinks, cooktops, and other fixtures, ensuring they are level, centered, and properly sealed.
- Apply high-quality sealants, epoxies, and color-matched silicone to all seams, backsplashes, and sink perimeters to create a durable, waterproof, and clean finish.
- Conduct a comprehensive final inspection of the installed product, checking for levelness, fit, finish, and overall quality to ensure it meets our rigorous standards.
- Professionally walk the client through the finished project, demonstrating features and educating them on the proper care and maintenance of their new countertop material.
- Proactively troubleshoot and creatively resolve unforeseen installation challenges or site-specific issues that may arise during the installation process.
- Maintain a disciplined, clean, and organized work area throughout the installation and ensure a complete site cleanup upon project completion.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe work environment.
Secondary Functions
- Perform routine maintenance and care for all company-provided tools, equipment, and installation vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Accurately and promptly complete all required project paperwork, including work orders, material usage logs, time sheets, and customer sign-off forms.
