Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Assisting with Full-Scale Installations: Work closely alongside a senior fitter, providing hands-on support during all phases of kitchen installation, from removal of the old kitchen to the completion of the new one.
Interpreting Technical Plans: Develop the ability to read, understand, and accurately interpret detailed kitchen layouts, technical drawings, and installation guides to ensure precise execution.

Fitting Base and Wall Units: Assist in the precise measurement, positioning, and secure fixing of base and wall cabinets to various wall types, ensuring perfect alignment and level.
Worktop Installation: Gain practical skills in measuring, cutting, and fitting laminate, solid wood, and composite worktops, including creating precise cut-outs for sinks and hobs and learning to execute clean mitre joints.
Appliance Installation: Support the safe installation and positioning of various integrated and freestanding kitchen appliances, such as ovens, dishwashers, extractors, and fridge-freezers.
