Primary Functions
- Actively support lead service technicians in the comprehensive diagnosis and repair of a diverse range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and refrigeration units.

- Accurately document all service activities, including hours worked, parts used, and detailed descriptions of repairs, using company software or paper-based work orders.
- Assist in identifying and sourcing necessary replacement parts by researching part numbers, checking inventory, and coordinating with suppliers to place orders.
- Learn to read and interpret complex technical manuals, electrical schematics, and blueprints to aid in troubleshooting and repairing equipment effectively.
- Strictly adhere to all company and industry safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.
- Support the installation of new commercial kitchen appliances, ensuring proper connections for gas, water, and electrical systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Develop troubleshooting skills by assisting in the identification of root causes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing failures in various types of kitchen equipment.
- Gain hands-on experience with connecting and disconnecting gas and water lines under the supervision of a licensed technician, ensuring all connections are secure and leak-free.
