Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Engage with prospective and existing clients in a warm, professional, and consultative manner to understand their unique vision, lifestyle needs, functional requirements, and budget for their kitchen project.
- Guide clients through the entire sales cycle, from initial showroom inquiry and needs analysis to design presentation, product selection, and final sale closure.
- Utilize specialized kitchen design software (e.g., 2020 Design, ProKitchen, Cabinet Vision) to create detailed, accurate, and visually compelling 3D renderings, floor plans, and elevations.
- Develop comprehensive and precise project proposals, quotes, and contracts that clearly outline product specifications, material costs, labor estimates, and project timelines.
- Conduct expert presentations of design concepts and product solutions, effectively articulating the value proposition, features, and benefits of our cabinetry, countertops, and other offerings.
- Maintain an in-depth, expert-level knowledge of our complete product portfolio, including various cabinet lines, countertop materials, hardware, accessories, and appliances.
- Proactively manage and follow up on all sales leads from various channels (web inquiries, walk-ins, phone calls, referrals) to maximize conversion rates.
- Perform accurate on-site consultations and field measurements to verify dimensions, assess site conditions, and ensure the proposed design is both feasible and perfectly integrated.
- Collaborate seamlessly with project managers, installation teams, and external vendors to ensure a smooth transition from the sales phase to project execution and completion.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the client throughout the project, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and promptly resolving any questions or concerns.
- Consistently meet and exceed established individual and team sales goals, gross profit margin targets, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Actively build and nurture a professional network of industry partners, including general contractors, builders, interior designers, and real estate agents, to generate referral business.
- Stay current with the latest kitchen design trends, materials, finishes, smart home technology, and industry best practices to provide innovative and informed advice.
- Process all sales orders with high accuracy, ensuring all specifications, financial details, and client information are correctly entered into the company's CRM and ordering systems.
- Provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure complete client satisfaction, address any follow-up items, and encourage future business and referrals.
- Handle customer objections with professionalism and skill, negotiating terms effectively to secure profitable sales while maintaining a positive, long-term client relationship.
- Meticulously document all client communications, design iterations, and sales activities within the CRM platform for transparent record-keeping and team collaboration.
- Review architectural blueprints and plans for new construction or major remodels, collaborating with architects and builders to ensure a cohesive and functional kitchen design.
- Coordinate the timely ordering of all necessary materials and products with the purchasing department, carefully tracking delivery schedules to align with project timelines.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure all deadlines are met without compromising quality or client experience.
Secondary Functions
- Assist in maintaining a pristine, organized, and inspiring showroom environment, including the management and updating of displays and samples.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Kitchen Design Software Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software such as 2020 Design, ProKitchen, Cabinet Vision, or AutoCAD is essential.
