Primary Functions

- Research and experiment with new knitting techniques, technologies, and yarn combinations to drive innovation and expand the brand's knitwear capabilities.
- Create and maintain a physical and digital library of all developed knit swatches, structures, and yarns for future reference and cross-seasonal application.
- Calculate precise yarn consumption estimates for costing purposes and work with the production team to ensure accurate yarn purchasing.
- Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards for all knitwear, defining acceptable tolerances for fabric quality, garment measurements, and finishing.
- Communicate detailed technical comments, corrections, and approvals to domestic and international factories and vendors, ensuring clear and effective collaboration.
- Operate and maintain in-house knitting machinery for rapid prototyping and swatch development, performing routine checks and minor adjustments.
