Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through a multi-channel approach, including targeted networking, community engagement, professional referrals, and strategic cold outreach.
  • Conduct thorough and consultative needs-analysis interviews with prospective clients to uncover their specific financial goals, risk tolerance, and protection requirements.
  • Educate clients on a diverse portfolio of insurance and/or financial products, clearly explaining complex policy features, benefits, and potential exclusions to ensure complete transparency.
  • Design, develop, and present customized proposals and solutions that directly address the client's identified needs and provide tangible value.
  • Master and articulate the unique value proposition of our company and products, differentiating our offerings from competitors in the marketplace.
  • Diligently follow up on all leads, quotes, and applications in a timely manner, guiding prospects through the decision-making process to close sales.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement in the CRM system.
  • Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with the existing client base, conducting regular policy reviews to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by management.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of all state and federal regulations governing the sale of licensed products to ensure 100% compliance in all activities.
  • Actively manage a book of business, providing ongoing service and support to clients to foster loyalty and drive high retention rates.
  • Respond to all client inquiries and service requests with a sense of urgency and professionalism, resolving issues effectively to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary applications and paperwork accurately and efficiently, collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth policy-issuance process.
  • Leverage social media and digital marketing tools to build a professional brand and attract potential clients within a target market.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain active licensure and stay current on new products, industry trends, and sales techniques.
  • Document every client interaction, communication, and transaction with meticulous detail in the designated CRM platform for reporting and continuity.
  • Develop a strong network of referral partners, such as real estate agents, mortgage brokers, or CPAs, to create a consistent stream of inbound leads.
  • Handle objections from prospective clients with confidence and skill, reframing the conversation to focus on value and solutions.
  • Analyze personal sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to enhance productivity.
