Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  1. Organize and maintain comprehensive case files, pleadings, exhibits, and correspondence for ongoing litigation matters.
  2. Assist attorneys in preparing trial binders, exhibits, and other supporting documentation for court proceedings.
  3. Coordinate end-to-end e-discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production.
  4. Manage electronic document databases and litigation support platforms (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, iManage).
  5. Prepare and format legal documents, motions, and discovery requests according to court and firm standards.
  6. Track deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements to ensure timely submissions.
  7. Conduct legal research and gather background information on cases, parties, and legal precedents.
  8. Liaise with external vendors such as court reporters, process servers, and discovery providers.
  9. Assist in creating presentations and demonstratives for depositions, hearings, and trials.
  10. Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive legal and client information.
  11. Review, index, and code documents for relevance, privilege, and confidentiality in support of legal teams.
  12. Generate reports on case status, document production, and discovery progress for attorneys and management.
  13. Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal procedures, and applicable regulations.
  14. Support attorneys in client, witness, and opposing counsel correspondence.
  15. Assist in the preparation and management of settlement documentation and related correspondence.
  16. Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings for litigation teams.
  17. Maintain accurate logs of evidence, exhibits, and chain-of-custody documentation.
  18. Support billing, time-tracking, and documentation related to litigation support activities.
  19. Prepare materials for audits, regulatory reviews, or compliance inspections.
  20. Assist in post-trial documentation, archiving, and knowledge management of case files.

Secondary Functions

  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis for litigation metrics and case progress.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of litigation support processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT and legal operations teams to enhance document management systems.

Minimum Education:
Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Administration, or related field
