Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conduct thorough, one-on-one client consultations to identify their skin type, skin concerns, style preferences, and desired outcome for the makeup application.
  • Skillfully apply a full range of cosmetic products, including foundation, concealer, powders, and color cosmetics, to achieve flawless and long-lasting looks for various occasions.
  • Educate clients on personalized makeup application techniques, tool usage, and skincare routines to empower them to replicate looks and maintain healthy skin.
  • Maintain an encyclopedic knowledge of current beauty trends, new product launches, and innovations in cosmetic ingredients and formulations.
  • Build and nurture a strong client base by providing exceptional, personalized service that encourages repeat business and positive referrals.
  • Perform detailed skin assessments to accurately recommend the most suitable skincare and makeup products that align with the client's needs and budget.
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation by meticulously cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing all makeup brushes, tools, products, and workstations.
  • Create a wide variety of makeup styles, from natural and everyday looks to glamorous evening, bridal, and avant-garde or theatrical designs.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, client records, and communication effectively to ensure a seamless and professional client experience.
