Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Plan, write, edit, and proofread clear, compelling, and audience-tailored marketing collateral including blog posts, landing pages, press releases, case studies, white papers, brochures, and product one-pagers that adhere to brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaign assets across channels (email, social, web, paid, events, PR) to support product launches, seasonal promotions, demand-generation programs, and brand initiatives, coordinating timing and channel mix for maximum reach and conversion.
  • Create, schedule, and manage daily social media content for multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) including copy, visuals, hashtags, community engagement, and paid-social coordination with the advertising team.
  • Build and send targeted email campaigns and nurture sequences using marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp), including list segmentation, A/B testing, template creation, personalization tokens, and deliverability best practices.
  • Support media relations and PR activities by drafting press materials, maintaining media lists, coordinating interviews, preparing media briefs, and tracking press mentions and earned media coverage.
  • Manage website content updates and optimize on-page content for search engines (SEO) using keyword research, meta-description optimization, internal linking, and collaboration with web developers and SEO specialists.
  • Produce and edit multimedia content (images, simple motion graphics, video clips) in collaboration with designers or using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Premiere Rush to enhance content engagement.
  • Coordinate content calendars and editorial planning across teams; maintain deadlines, asset trackers, and content briefs to ensure consistent messaging and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales enablement to develop sales collateral, pitch decks, competitor comparisons, objection-handling snippets, and one-sheets that help the revenue team convert leads.
  • Monitor campaign performance and channel KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversion rate, social engagement, website traffic, lead quality) and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct audience research and personas refinement by analyzing CRM data, user behavior, and customer feedback to tailor messaging and identify content gaps across the buyer journey.
  • Support event and webinar planning by developing promotional assets, onsite collateral, speaker bios, scripts, registration pages, and post-event follow-up campaigns to maximize attendance and nurture leads.
  • Assist in managing external vendors and creative agencies by writing clear briefs, reviewing deliverables for brand compliance, and coordinating timelines and budgets.

  • Respond to inbound marketing communications requests from other teams and quickly create or adapt collateral to meet tight deadlines and cross-functional needs.
  • Conduct competitive content audits and benchmark reviews to identify industry trends, content opportunities, and positioning adjustments to keep messaging differentiated.
  • Support crisis communications under guidance from senior leadership by drafting holding statements, Q&A documents, and coordinating notifications to stakeholders and media when needed.
