Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively engage with clients entering the department, offering a warm and genuine welcome to create a positive and inviting shopping environment.
- Conduct in-depth style consultations to understand a client's lifestyle, personal preferences, wardrobe gaps, and goals for their visit.
- Provide expert styling advice and build complete head-to-toe outfits for clients, demonstrating how different pieces can be integrated into their existing wardrobe.
- Drive sales by leveraging deep product knowledge across all menswear categories, including fabrication, fit, and brand history, to make compelling recommendations.
- Establish and nurture a personal client book, implementing strategic outreach through email, phone calls, and personalized look-books to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Manage the entire client journey from initial greeting through to the fitting room and final transaction, ensuring a seamless and high-touch service at every point.
- Maintain a high-service fitting room experience by preparing spaces, bringing clients additional sizes or alternative styles, and offering honest, constructive feedback.
- Act as a brand storyteller, eloquently communicating the inspiration, quality, and unique selling propositions of the collections.
- Achieve and exceed personal sales targets, conversion rates, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by store management.
- Assist clients with special orders, alterations, and coordinating with tailors to ensure a perfect fit and a flawless final product.
- Introduce clients to complementary products and categories, maximizing the value of each transaction and enhancing their overall wardrobe.
- Handle complex customer service issues with grace and professionalism, finding effective solutions that preserve the client relationship and uphold brand standards.
- Stay consistently informed on new product arrivals, current fashion trends, and competitor activities within the menswear market to maintain credibility as a style expert.
Secondary Functions
- Assist in the execution of visual merchandising directives, ensuring the sales floor is impeccably presented, organized, and reflects the brand’s aesthetic.
- Participate in regular inventory management activities, including cycle counts, stock replenishment from the backroom, and identifying low-stock items.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members by sharing product knowledge, best practices for clienteling, and operational procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cash wrap, fitting rooms, and stockroom areas to ensure operational efficiency and a premium store appearance.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Prepare and process shipments, online order fulfillments, and customer sends with a high degree of accuracy and care.
- Collaborate with store leadership to plan and execute in-store events, trunk shows, and targeted client outreach campaigns.

- POS Systems: Proficiency in operating modern Point-of-Sale (POS) and retail management software for transactions, returns, and inventory lookups.

Experience Requirements
Typical Experience Range: 2-5 years of experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
