Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Deliver high‑touch, consultative selling by conducting personalized styling sessions, measurements, and fittings for men’s suiting, tailored garments and wardrobe packages to drive conversion and build long-term client relationships.

- Execute visual merchandising and planogram standards for the men’s floor, ensuring displays, mannequins and signage are updated to seasonal directives and promotional calendars to maximize sell-through.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions, refunds and exchanges accurately while maintaining compliance with company cash handling, returns and fraud prevention policies.
- Manage inventory health by performing regular stock checks, cycle counts, transfer requests and replenishment planning; escalate low-stock and best-seller alerts to the manager and buying team.
- Drive omnichannel fulfillment by supporting buy-online-pick-up-in-store (BOPIS), ship-from-store, and reserve-and-try workflows to reduce friction between online and in-store experiences.
- Coach and mentor junior sales staff on selling techniques, fitting protocols, product assortment and clienteling best practices to improve overall team performance.
- Host and execute private shopping appointments, trunk shows, product launches and VIP events to grow client base and increase average order value.
- Monitor competitor assortments, pricing and market trends in men’s apparel to inform upsell strategies, client recommendations and merchandising feedback to the buying team.
- Maintain a polished sales floor presentation and stockroom organization, ensuring items are properly ticketed, steamed and ready for immediate sale or fitting.
- Prepare and present detailed client reports and sales activity summaries, including pipeline updates, follow-up schedules and feedback to store leadership for strategic planning.
- Resolve complex customer service and product issues with diplomacy and ownership, escalating to store management when necessary to preserve the customer experience and brand reputation.
