Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Execute the placement of new and existing merchandise on the sales floor, strictly adhering to company planograms and visual standards to create an appealing and shoppable environment.
  • Efficiently process inbound freight, including unboxing, sorting, ticketing, and applying security sensors to all merchandise in accordance with company timelines and procedures.
  • Proactively replenish merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring product availability for customers and maintaining fully stocked, organized shelves and fixtures.
  • Perform daily store recovery tasks, such as organizing merchandise, folding apparel, clearing fitting rooms, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
  • Implement and maintain all visual merchandising directives, including setting up promotional displays, updating signage, and executing seasonal floor sets to drive sales and enhance brand identity.
  • Manage and maintain the organization of the stockroom, ensuring it is safe, clean, and set up for maximum efficiency in locating and moving products.
  • Engage with customers on the sales floor to provide product knowledge, assist with locating items, and offer solutions, thereby elevating the overall customer shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify and communicate merchandising opportunities, slow-selling items, and potential stock level issues.
  • Uphold all loss prevention standards by maintaining floor awareness, providing attentive customer service, and accurately processing merchandise to minimize shrink.
  • Participate in and support the execution of promotional events and markdowns, ensuring all price changes are implemented accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all merchandise presentation, including folding, hanging, and sizing, meets the high-quality standards set by the company to ensure a consistent brand image.
  • Assist in maintaining fitting room standards by promptly returning merchandise to the sales floor and ensuring the area is clean and organized for customer use.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with fellow associates and store leadership to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Operate handheld technology (scanners, tablets) to manage inventory tasks, including stock checks, price verifications, and processing transfers.

  • Support online order fulfillment (BOPIS - Buy Online, Pick-up In-Store) by accurately and quickly picking, packing, and staging customer orders.
  • Provide backup support at the cash wrap during peak traffic periods, processing transactions accurately and engaging with customers at the point of sale.
